Contractors transport freight, commercial shipments, and customer orders on local and regional delivery routes. This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. Compensation is based on the specific route, delivery assignment, or agreed-upon rate. Requirements

• Own or have reliable access to a box truck suitable for assigned delivery work.
• Hold a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Have an acceptable driving record and be able to meet customer-specific qualification requirements.
• Maintain current vehicle registration and required insurance coverage.
• Be able to provide required business documentation and tax information.
• Be able to pass applicable background checks and drug screening when required by the customer or assignment.
• Have strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Be able to lift, move, and handle freight as required by the assigned route.
• Demonstrate professional appearance, dependable attendance, and commitment to safe, on-time service.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries according to assigned routes and delivery requirements.
• Safely load, unload, secure, and transport freight and other shipments.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery when required.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and receiving locations.
• Follow applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and customer-specific procedures.
• Maintain the vehicle in safe, clean, and reliable operating condition.
• Meet established pickup and delivery times and promptly communicate delays or service issues.
• Protect customer shipments and report damaged, missing, or improperly secured freight.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every pickup and delivery location.
