Independent Contractor - 26ft Box Truck Driver/ Two Person Team
About The Position
Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is a leading logistics and distribution company committed to delivering excellence in service. We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for a "Box Truck Owner/Operator- Two Person Team" with furniture assembly experience to join us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers. The driver will be handling appliances all deliveries will include installations, servicing, pickups, and deliveries. These deliveries may involve entering residential homes. All routes are 5 days/week with occasional Saturdays.
Requirements
- Own a 26ft box truck
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in navigational devices
- Smart Phone required
- Furniture assembly experience
- Provide own tools including a hammer drill and concrete bits
- Slides to move furniture to prevent damages
- Must be over 21 (drivers)
- Helpers must be 18
- Must be able to undergo a background check, motor vehicle report and drug test
