As an Incoming Quality Control Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the inspection, testing and validation processes, ensuring that products meet stringent specifications and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of quality inspectors, coordinate with vendors, procurement, production and engineering departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to uphold product integrity and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • U.S citizen with the ability to secure a U.S. government security clearance; must meet eligibility requirements for access to export – controlled data
  • At least one year of experience in a similar manufacturing supervisory quality role.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, and cable prints.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, using hands to inspect components, lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional stooping or kneeling
  • Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, color differentiation, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality assurance procedures, and relevant industry standards.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, and cable prints.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
  • Understanding of MIL-spec inspection standards (a plus).
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership in a quality-focused environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and sound decision-making abilities; able to work effectively under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily work of inspectors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to technical standards.
  • Maintain and execute quality control programs that support continuous production of high-reliability products.
  • Plan and conduct training initiatives for quality and reliability practices.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Contract Administration, Procurement and Production departments to define and implement product standards.
  • Investigate vendor non-conformances regarding quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform and oversee inspections of mechanical and electronic assemblies using tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and optical comparators.
  • Verify conformity to drawings and specifications, including MIL-specification level requirements where applicable.
  • Document and report inspection results, non-conformances, and rework needs.
  • Maintain compliance with the Company’s Quality Manual and ensure team alignment with quality objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
