This position serves as an Income Maintenance Supervisor II, providing direct administrative and technical supervision to a specialized Adult Medicaid unit. The unit focuses on Long Term Care, Special Assistance, Community Alternatives Program (CAP), and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The selected candidate will directly lead and support a team of five to six (5-6) case workers within a larger unit of eleven (11) experienced staff who manage complex adult program eligibility and ongoing case maintenance. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position features a hybrid work arrangement that includes both in-office and remote work, based on operational needs, unit performance, and demonstrated leadership reliability. In this role you will be responsible for supporting 5-6 specialized case workers managing active caseloads of approximately 225 case heads each. Reviewing complex eligibility determinations, applications, recertifications, and program transfers to ensure strict compliance with state policy and federal regulations. Monitoring unit workflows, reassigning cases as needed, and ensuring the team consistently meets multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for the unit, clarifying intricate Medicaid policies and resolving complex case issues independently. In addition, you will be expected to facilitate training progression, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative team environment.
