The Funding Income Coordinator II position is responsible for reviewing income documents for accuracy as well as calculating applicant income during the loan application process. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the funding policy in the areas of income calculation and proof of income documents, understanding various calculation methods and making decisions when exceptions to policy are required. The coordinator will communicate with dealerships when additional documentation is required, providing an explanation of information needed to complete the income review, and provide feedback to Dealer Funding Specialists and dealerships when applicants fail to meet income requirements or when the income falls outside of the company funding policy. Additionally, the role involves logging and reviewing funding packages for compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, including reviewing/clearing contract errors, restructuring deals to ensure program guidelines are met, reviewing/correcting income, verifying collateral, and performing customer interviews. The Funding Income Coordinator II must maintain acceptable turnaround time to achieve volume targets, assist with verifying customer information in aspects of income or employment as the business needs dictate, and maintain electronic records and files that support work performed and results. The position also fosters a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management, and performs additional assignments and special projects as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management.
