About The Position

Brightpoint is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment for all students in our Early Childhood Education centers. The Inclusion Aide is responsible for assisting students who have disabilities or special needs with addressing safety, personal care, and other daily needs to ensure effective inclusion in classroom learning and activities. As the Inclusion Aide, you will help to maintain classroom environments that are developmentally appropriate and meet the needs of individual students, assist with executing individualized students plans, and provide Conscious Discipline curriculum support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Development required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting students who have disabilities or special needs with addressing safety, personal care, and other daily needs to ensure effective inclusion in classroom learning and activities.
  • Maintain classroom environments that are developmentally appropriate and meet the needs of individual students.
  • Assist with executing individualized students plans.
