About The Position

The Virtual School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Inclusion Officer who is passionate about improving the life chances of vulnerable children and young people. The role works closely with a small team of dedicated professionals and Lifelong Learning teams to provide challenge and support to schools and key partners, with the aim of improving educational outcomes for vulnerable children. The post requires accurate spoken English when communicating with customers and providing advice or information. It is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The successful applicant must complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and, where applicable, provide an overseas criminal records certificate or statement of good conduct for periods spent abroad. Applicants must provide detailed supporting information addressing the employee specification; CVs are not accepted.
