About The Position

As an Inclusion for Children with Disabilities (ICD) Specialist, you help ensure children with disabilities and diverse developmental needs are fully included in high-quality early childhood settings statewide. Through technical assistance, training, and relationship-building, your work supports workforce boards and child care programs in implementing inclusive, developmentally appropriate practices. This role blends purpose with practice — translating policy and evidence into actionable guidance that builds confidence, capacity, and more inclusive outcomes for children, families, and providers. Statewide travel is a key component of this position.

Requirements

• Associate degree required
• Experience supporting children with disabilities or challenging behaviors in early childhood or related systems.
• Knowledge of inclusive child development practices and early childhood special education concepts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into practical guidance.
• A demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, teamwork, and CCG’s mission and values.

Nice To Haves

• bachelor’s degree in early childhood, special education, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide technical assistance to workforce boards and child care programs to promote inclusive practices and ADA-aligned supports.
• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of virtual and in-person training aligned with grant requirements and best practices.
• Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly guidance tools, resources, and training materials.
• Build collaborative relationships with workforce boards, providers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Document technical assistance activities and outcomes to support reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement.
