About The Position

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as an Incentivized Therapist at our Payson Family Clinic in Payson, Utah. This onsite position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality behavioral health care to children and families in our community. As a local government agency, we're committed to helping individuals overcome mental health challenges through compassionate, evidence-based treatment. This performance-based incentivized position provides the flexibility and opportunity to deliver outpatient services while working with children, adolescents, and families. We are especially seeking a clinician with experience and a passion for providing therapeutic interventions to young children ages 3 and older. Applicants must be fully licensed for this position (i.e. CMHC, LSCW, LMFT).

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Utah licensure as LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
• Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
• Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
• Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with young children are preferred.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy, using evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Conduct intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic interviews to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans focused on client goals, progress, and long-term wellness.
• Maintain an assigned caseload while completing accurate, timely clinical documentation and records.
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and families experiencing a variety of behavioral health challenges.
• Participate in family team meetings and assist with discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and transition of services.
• Coordinate care with parents, courts, state agencies, hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners to support continuity of care.
• Screen and evaluate referrals to determine appropriate placement and ensure clients receive the services that best meet their needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, case managers, medical providers, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide consultation, training, and clinical guidance to support team members and community partners.
• Monitor client progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and help clients build skills to improve their overall quality of life.
