Our TJ Maxx/ Distribution Center (DC) is looking for top notch Temporary Inbound Receiving Warehouse Associates. This person will play a key role in ensuring merchandise is organized and handled with care to provide value to our customers.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Must successfully complete a specialized math and skill assessment
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to stand and/or walk for 10 to 12 hours

Responsibilities

Unload carton freight trailers according to department standards by counting, selecting, and sorting cartons by style, color, store order, or other criteria while following trailer safety practices.
Work in a fast paced, safe and efficient way.
Unload carton freight trailers according to department standards, follow trailer safety practices and perform job function within established safety guidelines.
Work in an environment with variable temperatures.
Maintain housekeeping inside trailers and around dock door area.
Use a computer keyboard for logging trailer and inventory information.
Read from a computer screen in English.
Count, select and sort cartons by style, color, store order or other criteria.
Lift and lower packages up to 50 lbs. and reach with hands and arms. Team lifting may be required on some assignments.
Adjust body position to properly bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn and pivot.
Match receipts against purchase orders.
Work with limited supervision.
Be flexible with changing demands and priorities.
Be organized and show good attention to detail.
Be safety conscious.
Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
