About The Position

The Inbound Supervisor is responsible for all tasks involved with the smooth daily operations of the Support Department, primarily focused on Inventory Control. This includes processing, verification, and record-keeping on all inventory at the Indianapolis Distribution Center, as well as hiring and training of Support Team Members and managing their productivity. The primary focus will be on the inventory cycle count program and managing inventory accuracy.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort with Internet and inventory control applications.

Must learn safety protocols of the company and ensure team is following them.

Practice TCE (Total Customer Experience).
Proficient and highest level of knowledge on Legends Global Merchandise systems, policies & procedures.
General Safety Forklift/Hi Lift/Pallet Jack Training.
Minimum 4 years’ industry experience.
Personnel management experience.
WMS/TWL experience a plus.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supervise the activities of distribution staff engaged in support areas including inventory control, quality, problem resolution, and posting.
Interview, select, and train warehouse and team lead personnel.
Plan inventory operations, establishing priorities and sequences for accurately inventorying products.
Coordinate cycle count program for inventory control teams ensuring cycle count goals are maintained.
Report on any inventory adjustments, inventory accuracy, or major variances related to inventory.
Ensure the team meets expectations of position based on our pillars of performance: Safety, Quality, Teamwork, Productivity.
Lead entire Support department occasionally to cover management.
Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities.
Other duties may be assigned.
