The Inbound Supervisor, Logistics is responsible for developing work schedules, directing workflow, and ensuring adequate coverage in various Inbound processing areas to meet daily goals. This role focuses on maintaining service levels, implementing priority processing, and achieving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for cycle time, accuracy, and productivity. The supervisor will resolve exceptions, facilitate merchandise flow, and ensure the accuracy of received goods and associated documentation. Additionally, they will oversee the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment, optimize space utilization, and manage the processing of specific items like Testers and non-sku'd GWPs. Communication with other departments, adherence to company and government regulations, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment are also key aspects of this position. The role involves training staff, developing a productive team through motivation and incentive programs, and performing disciplinary actions as needed. Problem purchase orders must be resolved within an acceptable timeframe, and quality control audits are to be completed. The supervisor will also provide coverage for other supervisors and clerks, work within the department budget, and assist in other Distribution Center functions as required.
