About The Position

American Stone is hiring a full-time Inbound Salesperson to support customers, process orders, and drive sales through incoming inquiries and in-store interactions. This role focuses on building relationships with contractors, landscapers, and retail customers by providing product guidance, processing orders, and identifying upsell opportunities. This is a primarily on-site position based at one of our locations. Candidates must be local and available to work during business hours, including Saturdays.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Basic computer skills (email, Google Docs, Microsoft Word)
• Ability to work on-site and occasionally assist with light physical tasks

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience (inside or retail sales)
• Experience in construction, landscaping, building materials, or related industries (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with heavy equipment, tools, or job site environments
• Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers and respond to inbound calls and inquiries
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, landscapers, and retail customers
• Process orders accurately and efficiently
• Recommend products and identify upsell opportunities
• Coordinate with yard and operations teams to fulfill orders
• Maintain organized records and customer information
• Follow up with customers to support repeat business
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals
