About The Position

The Inbound Logistics Transportation Specialist is responsible for scheduling and dispatching containers for all regional warehouses in the U.S. This role involves determining container movement and maintaining continuous communication with freight forwarders, trucking partners, warehouse operations teams, and 3rd party warehouses. Decisions are made based on factors such as cost efficiency and store inventory needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Proficiency in accurately entering and managing data and maintaining organized records
In-depth knowledge of logistics, operations, food regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Bilingual – Korean and English is preferred
3+ year work experience preferred in Operation/Distributions/logistics/transportation industry
RFP experience will be a plus

Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch containers for ALL regional warehouses in the U.S.
Determine container movement and maintain continuous communication with freight forwarders, trucking partners, warehouse operations teams, and 3rd party warehouse.
Make decisions based on factors such as cost efficiency and store inventory needs.
Communicate with the freight forwarder and prepare for Air/Ocean Freight schedule.
Determine if genset attachment is necessary for RF containers.
Perform the regular RFPs for drayage service.
Manage and update Unloading Priority List.
Communicate with truckers, warehouse, and 3rd Party warehouse.
Follow up FDA release and return the empty containers.
Track all inbound container movement.
Prepare for the payment of AR/AP, and claim report.
Analyze Demurrage & Detention fee and report to the upper management.
Prepare Monthly Ocean Freight List.
