About The Position

This student will support Bayside and inbound logistics operations by assisting with continuous improvement with receipt, storage, tracking, and delivery requests. Working alongside Bayside Distribution, logistics, and project teams, the student will gain hands-on experience in inventory control, material handling, and enterprise systems while contributing to the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of daily warehouse operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the student will assist in preparation of reports and presentations, and any initiative projects as required.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program.
  • Interest in logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous co-op or internship experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
