In-Store Shopper
About The Position
As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store to pick items, check quality, and make selections that meet customer expectations. You help ensure orders are accurate and groceries are fresh. You also organize orders for pickup, carefully bag items, manage substitutions when needed, and coordinate orders for timely customer handoff. The work involves shopping, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup in a steady, fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level position with advancement opportunity.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
- Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
- Ability to move continuously throughout the store, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in different store areas.
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Select high-quality products across perishable and non-perishable departments for online customer orders.
- Check product quality and ensure order accuracy.

- Manage out-of-stock items and choose appropriate substitutions.
- Coordinate orders for timely handoff to customers or preparation for delivery.
- Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
- Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, and applicable safety, sanitation, and dress policies.
- Coordinate order needs with team members and department processes.
