About The Position

As a primary contact for customers, the Grocery Home Shopping Department Manager provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Department Manager spends the majority of their time selecting orders and ensuring that the processing/delivery of customers orders are completed to standards and within set timelines. The Department Manager is held accountable for the department’s results in providing superior service, increasing sales, improving gain, and containing cost. Trains, supervises, schedules, and assigns duties to Personal Shoppers. Ensures all equipment is used according to the company standard and manufacturer guidelines in order to ensure safety and minimize damage. Position involves varying levels of pressure where the Department Manager should be able to respond accordingly. The Department Manager must demonstrate excellent motivation and team working skills and be capable of working both on their own and as part of a team. As the In-Store Shopper you will have the opportunity to be the best and select “the best of the best” for our online shoppers. To be successful in the position, you must take pride in your work, care about what is selected for our customers, and be quick on your feet to determine substitute products, if need be. The In-Store Shopper not only helps our online customers but those in our store as well. You’ll gain additional experience through other departments too – when the online orders are slow, you’ll get to spend time helping in other areas – talk about learning & growth opportunities! Responsibilities

  • Selecting orders and ensuring that the processing/delivery of customers orders are completed to standards and within set timelines.
  • Training, supervising, scheduling, and assigning duties to Personal Shoppers.
  • Ensuring all equipment is used according to the company standard and manufacturer guidelines in order to ensure safety and minimize damage.
  • Selecting the best products for online shoppers.
  • Determining substitute products when necessary.
  • Helping online customers and in-store customers.
  • Spending time helping in other areas when online orders are slow.
