About The Position

Join American Residential Services (ARS), the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical services, with over 7,000 professionals and 45+ years of trusted home service experience. We are hiring Retail Lead Generators to work inside national home improvement retail stores promoting HVAC services, heating and air conditioning tune-ups, system replacements, and indoor air quality solutions. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy speaking with people and want to earn hourly pay plus commission while introducing homeowners to professional HVAC services and consultations.

Requirements

  • Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts
  • Weekend and some holiday availability
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
  • Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
  • Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Responsibilities

  • Act as a retail brand-ambassador, representing ARS with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Engage retail shoppers to educate homeowners on heating, cooling, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality solutions.
  • Serve as a product-consultant explaining service options, system upgrades, and comfort improvements.
  • Support lead-generation efforts by identifying interested homeowners to promote and schedule free in-home consultations and tune-ups.
  • Function as a lead-generator and appointment-setter, scheduling in‑home visits with service technicians and comfort advisors.
  • Engage customers inside retail store locations to discuss and sell HVAC upgrades, heating and air conditioning services, energy conservation options, and indoor air quality solutions.
  • Represent the ARS brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
