About The Position

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role involves engaging with customers in a retail environment, educating them about home comfort solutions, and generating qualified leads for in-home consultations or service appointments. ARS is the nation's largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, offering opportunities for career growth in the home-services industry.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Weekend and some holiday availability
• Reliable transportation
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Nice To Haves

• Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
• No HVAC experience needed

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
• Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
• Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
• Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
