About The Position

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Lead Generation Specialists to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role offers an hourly pay plus uncapped commission, with an average earning potential of $20–$30/hour. We provide paid training and flexible schedules, with opportunities to advance into HVAC Sales Advisor roles. This position does not involve door-to-door canvassing or cold calling. Full-time employees also receive insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and company-paid life insurance.

Requirements

Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
Ability to stand and walk during shifts
Weekend and some holiday availability
Reliable transportation
Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Nice To Haves

Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
No HVAC experience needed to be successful

Responsibilities

Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
