Mission Bit is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that equips youth with hands-on computer science and AI education that builds confidence, technical skills, and pathways to meaningful careers in technology. We offer a variety of hands-on STEM education programs, including semester- and year-long introductory coding courses, self-paced learning, workshops, and much more. As an In-school Instructor, you will be at the forefront of high-quality computer science education by delivering weekly lessons, connecting with students, and fostering an engaging and welcoming classroom environment. You will use Mission Bit’s in-house project-based curriculum to plan and teach lessons focused on exploring computer science. This role is highly visible and student-facing. If you have a passion for community, social justice, and coding, and want to uplift Bay Area youth and bridge the tech divide, this might be the opportunity for you! This is a temporary, part-time in-person role based at our partner high school sites in San Francisco, CA, and reports directly to the Education Program Manager. We’re proud to provide training to all instructional staff to prepare them to teach, along with ongoing support throughout the semester.
