About The Position
The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for providing exceptional in-room dining service while supporting private bar operations. This role ensures all guest interactions are handled with professionalism and care, delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences that reflect Four Seasons standards. This position is part of the Food & Beverage team, reporting to In-Room Dining Management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role; hotel or restaurant experience preferred
- Strong food & beverage knowledge with a passion for service excellence
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 100 lbs
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts
- Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-room dining orders with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Set up, present, and clear in-room dining service in a timely and elegant manner
- Provide expert knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and beverage pairings
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless, personalized dining experience
- Support private bar operations, including stocking, replenishing, and customizing in-room minibar offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns with efficiency and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and service standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistent service delivery
- Adapt to varied shifts, including split shifts between in-room dining and private bar duties
