About The Position

Schneider Electric is seeking an In Process Quality Technician for incoming inspection on 2nd Shift to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN. If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Skilled in validating and correcting technical documents, including test procedures.
  • Able to manage technical tasks independently with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret schematics.
  • Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral), strong organizational abilities, and computer proficiency.
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor
  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift.
  • Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.
  • Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of incoming components and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances; collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards during all inspection activities.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold quality expectations.
  • Accurately record inspection results in SAP and maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits.
  • Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and maintain it in good condition. Immediately report hazards, incidents, and accidents to supervisors. Adhere to Provincial HS&E legislation, regulations, and company policies.
