About The Position

The In-Process Quality Inspector performs dimensional and visual workmanship inspections throughout final assembly and test to identify defects early and prevent nonconforming product from moving downstream. The role works closely with production operators, test technicians, and engineering to verify that assemblies meet drawings, work instructions, customer requirements, and IPC workmanship standards. Inspection results are documented accurately in the ERP/MES system. The inspector also performs First Article Inspections, identifies and supports disposition of nonconforming material, communicates quality issues, and helps verify corrective actions. The position follows ESD controls and the site's ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality management system while maintaining an organized inspection area and ensuring measuring equipment is within calibration. The position is performed in a manufacturing-floor environment and requires adherence to ESD and safety protocols, including required PPE. The employee must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, perform detailed work under magnification, have good near vision and color perception (with or without correction), and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
