In-Process Inspector Job Purpose: Monitor and inspection of manufacturing goods, conducts dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies and/or final system assemblies.
Requirements
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Ability to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time
- Must be able to work overtime
- May need to lift up to 35 pounds
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
- This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing and knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred
Responsibilities
- Identify components including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement and solderability
- Report findings to appropriate personnel, and record findings on applicable documentation
- Perform other responsibilities as needed
- Collaborate with department leads/supervisor on concerns with components and technical support staff for immediate results
