JOB PURPOSE We are looking for an In-Process Inspector to support the inspection and quality of our products. This position focuses on the inspection and accuracy of our work, ensuring they meet OEM and FAA standards for quality and airworthiness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, technical school or A&P license a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or quality role, preferably in aerospace or MRO.
  • Ability to interpret and follow CMMs, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong communication and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station procedures is preferred.
  • A&P License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking quality on all in-process assemblies at various stages of production.
  • Interprets technical specifications, directives and relevant publications to identify potential discrepancies and deficiencies.
  • Communicate with other departments through email, telephone and face-to-face interaction.
  • Ensures manufacturing quality standards are met and maintains logs reflecting daily work.
  • Uses various measuring devices including microscope, pin gauges, calipers, multi-meters, etc.
  • Preform audits.
  • Communicate about quality with other departments verbally and through written documents according to established procedures.
  • Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization meets requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicating with team members and management regarding non-conforming products and participating in the identification of root causes for defects.
  • Performs in process inspections of products to determine conformance with specifications.
  • Report defective material or questionable conditions to production.
  • Validate all Customer quality requirements have been met by reviewing in-process inspection, assembly and test records.
  • Work cooperatively in team environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
