With readily available supervision, performs repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspects or checks parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Checks dimensions and finishes against blueprint or work order specifications. At this level, workers may perform finishing operations to correct rejected parts or assist with other production activities. Typically requires high school level math and problem-solving skills and work experience. In-Process Inspection Execution Perform quality inspections at key stages of fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint to ensure products meet specifications before moving to the next operation. Visual & Dimensional Verification Inspect parts and assemblies for accuracy, weld quality, critical dimensions, finishes, and pro0per component installation using drawings, measuring tools, and checklists. Documentation & Nonconformance Reporting Record inspection results, document any nonconformances, and initiate corrective actions or holds as needed; ensure traceability of inspections and rework. Collaboration with Manufacturing Teams Work closely with welders, assemblers, painters, and leads to identify issues early, clarify requirements, and promote right-first-time quality. Compliance with Standards Verify adherence to RICO quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory or industry standards throughout the production process.
