In Process Inspector - 2nd Shift

Job Summary: We are looking for an INSPECTOR who will perform visual and dimensional inspection of in-process forgings to ensure production requirements and specification are met.
Requirements
- Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
- In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
- English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
- Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
- Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
- Use appropriate tools to examine the dimensions of forged parts and ensure that they are meet requirements.
- Keep accurate count and record of part/work pieces to ensure traceability.
- Inspect and approve the first piece of a job before running entire production.
- Work collaboratively with other employees/departments across APP.
- Report faulty equipment or facility defect to supervisor.
- Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
