About The Position

The In process Inspector will perform quality checks and verification activities concerning product and process conformity to quality standards. This candidate will work with all departments to achieve customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality products.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of related experience in electronics manufacturing
• Experience checking and verifying activities concerned with product and process conformity to quality standards
• Comfortable navigating a computer and intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently and comfortable working with all levels of personnel
• Available for shift work and overtime hours (weekdays and weekends)

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards is preferable

Responsibilities

• Performs daily in-process and out-going inspection of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) to IPC and J-STD quality standards
• Initiates non-conformance reports and processes based on QA inspections
• Works directly with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, customers and vendors to provide quality feedback and resolve issues
• Ensures established procedures are followed throughout all QA processes
• Evaluates quality data (NCR, CAR, OQA) and provides feedback to improve overall quality
• Performs other duties as required
