About The Position

We're Growing! - We are recruiting to fill a full-time night shift position and a PRN night shift position. At Houston Hospice, we believe that the heart of our organization are the people who work here. Since 1980, we’ve grown to become the oldest and largest independent nonprofit hospice in the Greater Houston area. What truly defines us is our commitment to walking alongside patients and their families during some of life’s most tender moments. Our mission is simple: to provide uncompromising, compassionate, end-of-life care to patients of all ages and their families. Serving the 13 counties that surround the Houston area, we are committed to being the highest quality hospice provider wherever we serve. We focus on caring, not curing. Our approach is grounded in teamwork and trust by bringing together skilled healthcare professionals who all share a common purpose: to bring those on our service comfort, dignity, and peace. Whether care is provided in a family’s home, in a long-term care facility, or in our inpatient unit at the Texas Medical Center, our team is dedicated to meeting patients where they are, both physically and emotionally. Our doctors and nurses are experts in easing pain and managing complex symptoms of life-limiting illnesses, The work we do allows families to focus on what matters most: being together. As an LVN on our IPU team, you’ll provide hands-on bedside care, monitor symptoms closely, and perform other duties needed that fall within your scope, while being a gentle support to families who need both guidance and reassurance. You’ll collaborate daily with a compassionate team of Physicians, RNs, Social Workers, Chaplains, Hospice Aides, Volunteers, and Bereavement Counselors who share a common mission: to bring comfort and peace when it matters most. If you’re an LVN with a heart for hospice, strong clinical skills, and a passion for honoring patients and their families with dignity, we’d love for you to grow with us! Consider joining a team where your work truly makes a difference. Every single day.
