About The Position

The In/Outpatient Pharmacy Technician I will work under the supervision of a pharmacist in either the inpatient or the retail pharmacy as assigned. In the inpatient pharmacy, responsibilities include dispensing and order filling, inventory controls, IV admixtures, and prepackaging. The retail pharmacy technician will assist with order entry, filling, inventory control, insurance issues, reporting, and operating the cash register.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (minimum) required.
• Must pass basic Word competency.
• Must pass basic calculations competency.
• Must secure a Valid National Pharmacy Technician Certification from a nationally accredited pharmacy technician certification program within 1 year of effective hire date.

Nice To Haves

• Previous pharmacy experience OR valid National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
