This role involves performing and completing alterations according to Indochino’s guidelines and service standards. The In-House Tailor will provide expert advice on product, manage customer expectations regarding lead times, and maintain a strong knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques, garment construction, and men’s suiting. A customer-centric approach with enthusiasm for the product and brand is essential. Responsibilities include pressing, steaming, and spot cleaning garments, following quality control guidelines, and meeting productivity levels of at least 300 units per month. The role also requires managing rush orders, maintaining accurate alteration records, coordinating with external alteration vendors, cultivating customer relationships, identifying quality discrepancies, assisting with customer fittings, educating customers and staff on fitting techniques, resolving customer service issues, ensuring equipment maintenance, and communicating supply needs.
