About The Position
This position reports to the L.N. Curtis & sons Salt Lake City, Utah facility and is full-time. The In-house Service Technician is a position that has a strong passion for the emergency responder industry, for example Hurst Jaws of Life. This position includes consistent effective communication with L.N. Curtis & sons team members and customers. The successful candidate will be expected to represent the Company and our manufacturers in a neat, orderly and professional manner.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Capable of safely lifting and operating equipment weighing 75lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude and experience
- Special people skills to deal with customers and co-workers.
- Strong work ethic.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively via both verbal and written means.
- Demonstrated good judgement and a high degree of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair hydraulic extrication equipment (Jaws of Life)
- Service and repair SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus), masks and tanks
- Enhance up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, services and tools.
- Maintain an excellent driving record that meets requirements of our insurance provider.
- Receiving incoming shipments
- Maintain parts orders for customer repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Service Center
- Part Pick up and drop off as needed
- Other duties as assigned
