The Creative Lead is the senior creative and operational leader for Citizens’ in-house agency, Greenhouse. This role sets creative vision, safeguards the brand, and ensures delivery of high-quality work at speed and scale. Requirements

  • Experience leading and scaling creative teams in an agency or in-house environment.
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and multi-channel execution.
  • Proven operational leadership in workflow design, production oversight, and cost-efficient delivery.
  • Strong collaborator with experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Fluency with modern creative tools and emerging technologies, including AI.
  • Clear, confident communicator and people leader with a bias for action.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative vision and standards across all in-house agency work, ensuring work is on-brand, on-brief, and effective.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary creative team across the full marketing funnel.
  • Establish clear creative review processes that balance quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Build and optimize workflows, operating models, and processes to drive efficiency, clarity, and scalability.
  • Oversee intake, prioritization, resourcing, and timelines to ensure reliable delivery.
  • Partner closely with production to ensure strong financial stewardship and disciplined execution.
  • Ensure creative ideas are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintain alignment between creative vision and production execution across all deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-trust team culture that values ownership, feedback, and accountability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support staffing, development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Champion modern creative tools, technologies, and AI to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Encourage thoughtful experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted creative and operational partner to senior stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives into clear creative direction and executable solutions.
