About The Position

The In-Home Therapy Director will be responsible for the overall growth of the IHT program. This role involves creating, carrying, and monitoring quality measures to ensure adherence to all procedures and timelines. The Director will develop and track the program budget, hire and evaluate program staff, and attend relevant meetings, including regional SOC meetings. A key aspect of the role is communicating with and developing relationships with the community, other providers, and MCEs. The Director will also develop and monitor the intake, triage, and case assignment process, and utilize technology like EHRs and PowerBi for tracking and analysis. Additionally, the role includes developing and updating training curriculum, acting as a member of the CBYCS administrative team, ensuring timely payroll submission, and managing SOC meetings. The Director will also be involved in the review and development of risk management/safety plans, foster collaboration through multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensure the IHT program is appropriately staffed with adequate referral sources and trained staff providing quality services.

Requirements

  • Must possess a master’s degree and have an independent license in an appropriate human services field.
  • CANS Certification
  • 2 years of appropriate supervision
  • Extensive understanding and experience within CSA/CBHI child serving systems.
  • Experience navigating any of the child/family-serving systems and advocating for family members who are involved in the behavioral health system.
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative, analytical and decisive in problem solving.
  • Demonstrated communications, administrative and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community agencies: School Dept., DCF, DYS, Juvenile Court, etc.
  • Understanding/willingness to be part of a Program that supports youth and families 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
  • Must have a driver’s license and availability of vehicle to support Program needs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall growth of the IHT program.
  • Create, carry and monitor quality measures to ensure the IHT program is adhering to all procedures.
  • Ensure timelines are being met.
  • Develop and track program budget for IHT program.
  • Hire and evaluate program staff.
  • Attend regularly assigned meetings and all regional SOC meetings.

  • Develop and regularly update Training Curriculum.
  • Act as full member of CBYCS administrative team.

  • Manage SOC meetings that the Gándara center is responsible for.
  • Review/development of a risk management/safety plan in collaboration with the youth and parent/caregiver and mobile crisis/emergency department providers.
  • Foster collaboration through multidisciplinary team meets.
  • Assure the IHT program is appropriately staffed and have adequate referral sources.
  • Assure that all in home therapy staff are adequately trained and provide quality services.
