About The Position

New Horizons is looking for an In-Home Support Team Lead employee to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their goals, grow, develop skills and live as independently as possible in the community. Additionally, an In-Home Support Team Lead employee will assist individual(s) with health appointments and medication changes, as well as, attending meetings of the individual(s), scheduling employees to work with the individual(s), and supervising employees to ensure the home is being managed appropriately. In-Home Support Team Lead employees may need to assist clients with household management tasks (such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning and decorating), physical needs (such as grooming or eating), or community needs (participating in events, hobbies, recreational activities).

Requirements

Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver’s License
Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
Drug Test required
Background report and driving record required
TB test required
