About The Position
SRX Home Care, LLC, operating under the Happier At Home brand, is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team serving clients throughout Northeast Iowa. In this role, you will provide essential support to elderly and disabled individuals by assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, and enhancing overall quality of life within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. This position is ideal for individuals interested in beginning a rewarding career in caregiving and gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and client-focused environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient with a strong commitment to client care.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Must pass background check and saliva drug test.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years caregiving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and support emotional well-being.
- Assist with errands and transportation as required.
- Adhere to care plans and promptly report any changes to supervisors.
