About The Position

A well-established restoration services company is seeking a motivated and driven In-Home Sales Specialist to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and wants to make a real difference for homeowners during stressful situations involving water damage. You will be trained to assess damage, determine scope of work, create accurate estimates, and guide customers through the mitigation process with professionalism and care. Qualified leads are provided — no cold calling required. A dedicated customer service team handles pre-screening, pre-qualification, and appointment scheduling so you can focus on serving customers and closing opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Comfortable working with technology, equipment, and software
  • Ability to work overtime and some holidays as needed
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills with a respectful approach
  • Stable work history with a strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to close sales
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and competitive drive
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Clear criminal background
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work on-call shift

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners for scheduled in-home appointments (qualified leads provided)
  • Assess damage, determine scope of work, and prepare estimates
  • Present mitigation solutions to homeowners in a time of need
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and mitigation process
  • Coordinate and manage remediation crews to ensure job progress and compliance
  • Monitor job status and communicate updates with customers, management, and insurance carriers
  • Respond within one hour to new job notifications
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
