About The Position

Velaz Solar & Roofing is hiring experienced Solar & Roofing Sales Representatives in New Jersey. This role is for motivated sales professionals with experience in solar sales, roofing sales, in-home sales, home improvement sales, or commission-based closing. You will meet with homeowners, present solar and roofing solutions, handle objections, and close deals. We provide pre-set appointments, paid training, fast installation timelines, and strong back-office support so you can focus on selling and earning. This is a high-performance sales role with base salary plus commission, uncapped earning potential, and growth opportunities for top performers.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of solar, roofing, in-home sales, home improvement sales, or closing experience
  • Proven ability to close deals in a commission-based sales environment
  • Strong objection-handling, negotiation, and follow-up skills
  • Experience managing leads, appointments, and pipeline activity in a CRM
  • General computer proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • English proficiency
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability to work Tuesday–Saturday, including Saturdays

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish-English bilingual proficiency
  • Previous experience selling solar, roofing, windows, doors, HVAC, remodeling, or other home improvement services
  • Door-to-door, canvassing, appointment setting, or outside sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners in New Jersey to present solar and roofing solutions
  • Qualify homeowners and understand their energy usage, roofing needs, goals, and financing options
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close residential sales
  • Manage your pipeline, follow-ups, and customer updates using CRM tools
  • Coordinate with operations after the sale to ensure a smooth project handoff
  • Represent Velaz Solar & Roofing with professionalism, urgency, and strong customer service
