About The Position

S&G Carpet and More is seeking an In-Home Sales Consultant to join their team. This role involves meeting customers in their homes to measure for prospective floor covering projects, showcasing samples, presenting bids, and closing sales. Cold calling is not required as leads and appointments are generated by the retail team. The company provides training in measuring and sales skills, as well as product knowledge. Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work Saturdays.
Strong drive and ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
Strong presentation and customer service skills.

Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Meet S&G customers in their homes for scheduled appointments.
Perform measures of prospective floor covering projects.
Show floor covering samples and present customers with a bid at each measure.
Answer customer questions and close the sale in the home.
Represent Company while measuring for floor covering installation and selling to customers in the home.
Arrive to scheduled appointments on-time and ready to assist.
Ensure monthly sales quota is met.
Provide a high level of customer service by answering customer questions and presenting written bid on-site.
Assist retail staff on orders that do not close in home.
