About The Position
As a Product Specialist, your focus is selling. Our Contact Center schedules your appointments. You meet with homeowners in their homes, deliver a professional consultation, recommend solutions based on their needs, and close the sale. No cold calling. No door knocking. No prospecting. You’ll be supported by pre-set appointments, a proven sales process, comprehensive training, and a team focused on helping you succeed.
Requirements
- A confident, persuasive communicator who enjoys face-to-face sales.
- Strong closing and objection-handling skills.
- Self-motivation, discipline, and a desire to compete and succeed.
- Ability to build trust quickly and guide customers through significant purchasing decisions.
- Comfort working in a performance-driven, commission-based environment.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to customer appointments is REQUIRED.
Nice To Haves
- In-home sales, one-call close, home improvement, automotive, real estate, or other high-ticket sales experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners at pre-scheduled in-home appointments.
- Conduct professional consultations for Long Home products and services.
- Understand each homeowner’s needs and recommend the right solution for their home and budget.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and clearly communicate value.
- Confidently navigate questions and objections and ask for the sale.
- Prepare contracts, pricing, financing information, and required documentation accurately.
- Follow Long Home’s established sales process and maintain accurate customer records.
- Represent Long Home with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach.
- Consistently work toward individual sales, closing, and revenue goals.
