About The Position

CareOne Senior Care is seeking dependable and compassionate individuals to join our caregiving team in Southfield, Michigan. Our caregivers provide personalized, non-medical support to seniors and adults in the comfort of their own homes. If you enjoy helping others, value meaningful connections, and want work that makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you. Caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required. We provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.

Requirements

Are 18 years of age or older
Are dependable, compassionate, and positive
Are comfortable working independently in a client's home
Communicate respectfully and professionally
Have dependable transportation
Hold a valid driver's license
Have current vehicle registration and auto insurance
Can successfully complete a criminal background screening
Have a current TB test or are willing to obtain one before employment begins

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in home care, personal care, CNA work, direct care, or caregiving is a plus, but it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Helping clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Preparing meals and encouraging proper hydration
Offering companionship, conversation, and social interaction
Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks
Supporting clients with walking, mobility, and transfers
Providing medication reminders according to the client's care plan
Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or other activities as needed
Observing changes in a client's condition and communicating concerns to the office
Completing required documentation following each shift
