In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA
About The Position
Visiting Angels Homecare is seeking compassionate, trustworthy, motivated, and independent individuals to join our team as In Home Patient Care Assistants - PCA. Our caregivers provide essential support to elderly clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence. While a CNA certificate is not required, our PCAs must be capable of providing comprehensive care for all clients. This includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming. Proficiency in using mechanical lifts (e.g., Hoyer, stand-aid) is also necessary. We offer hands-on training to ensure our team is well-prepared. We serve the Sioux Falls area and surrounding communities, offering both full-time and part-time positions. Requirements
- 1 year of caregiving experience (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Working email and phone
- Pass a background check
- Professional Appearance and Attitude
- Reliable transportation (including snow days)
Nice To Haves
- 1 plus year of caregiving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients.
