About The Position
Senior Helpers is actively hiring licensed nursing assistants to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes throughout Rhode Island. If you are compassionate, dependable, and have open availability, we have consistent hours ready for you. We are especially seeking caregivers who can work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnights. This is non-medical home care focused on dignity, safety, and relationship-based support.
Requirements
- Active Rhode Island nursing assistant license (or temporary approval)
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
- Open availability strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation preferred
Responsibilities
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Mobility support and safe transfers
- Companionship and emotional support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitoring overall wellness and reporting changes
- Support for clients recovering at home after hospitalization
