Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time In Home Health Aide (caregiver) for the Penn Hills and Monroeville areas. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by “helping individuals and families with life's changing needs”. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. The Residential Aide provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. This part-time position works a schedule of various hours and various days.
Requirements
- 18 yrs. or older
- Ability to lift 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of quality care to individuals
- Ensure that each individual is treated with respect and dignity
- Improve the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community
