About The Position
Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Certified Care Aides and Caregivers. We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) with a strong focus on Memory Care and Mobility Support for our senior clients in the South Bay area. As a crucial member of our home care team, you will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to deliver personalized, high-quality care. We are actively looking for qualified caregivers to cover both daytime and overnight shifts to help meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Requirements
- Certified Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration, valid CNA license, or equivalent training.
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) or CNA Registry status.
- 3+ years of experience in a home care or facility setting (memory care and mobility experience highly preferred).
- Flexible scheduling options available across 3 to 5 shifts a week.
- Current CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain quickly) and a negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
- Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel around the South Bay territory.
- Access to a smartphone and internet for scheduling and charting.
Nice To Haves
- Memory care and mobility experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored companionship and cognitive engagement for seniors with memory care needs (Dementia/Alzheimer's).
- Assist with safe ambulation, client transfers, and transporting/escorting clients to appointments or outings.
- Help with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication reminders and strictly follow individualized client care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting of the client’s daily condition and activities.
