About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a private, family-owned veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care for pets and their families in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. We offer in-home euthanasia, hospice and palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, and compassionate family support. This role offers a chance to practice meaningful medicine with unhurried appointments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive leadership team, free from corporate pressure and restrictive non-compete agreements.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Weekend availability (rotational)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home euthanasia for pets.
- Offer hospice and palliative care.
- Conduct quality-of-life consultations.
- Provide compassionate family support during end-of-life care.
