About The Position
Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham-Oregon and Vancouver, Washington & Surrounding Areas. This private, family-owned practice focuses on providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets and their families, offering a career built around compassion, balance, and purpose without corporate pressure. Veterinarians at Heartstrings provide in-home euthanasia, hospice & palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, and compassionate family support. The role offers unhurried appointments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive leadership team.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD/BVMS
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
- Weekend Availability (Rotational)
- Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home euthanasia for pets.
- Offer hospice and palliative care.
- Conduct quality-of-life consultations.
