About The Position
Touching Hearts at Home is looking for compassionate Caregivers to join our Capital District team! If you have a heart for helping others and love one-on-one connections, this is your chance to change lives — one visit at a time. Provide non-medical care and companionship for seniors and adults in their homes — no hands-on hygiene or medical tasks required! Your support helps clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable individuals who embody Compassion, Commitment, Communication, and Consideration
- A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs and travel up to 15 miles for shifts
- Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone
- Must pass background and driving checks
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and companionship for seniors and adults in their homes
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Shopping, errands, and transportation
- Social companionship, reminders, and encouragement
- Standby assistance and safety oversight
