About The Position

CoxPHIT is seeking compassionate Child Care Providers to join our team. In this important role, you will provide relief to families by offering in-home support to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), allowing parents and caregivers to take a much-needed break. This position involves providing in-home care for children with I/DD in Bergen and/or Passaic Counties. It is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment. The compensation is $22-25 per hour depending on weekly hours worked.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required for in-home visits.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home care for children with I/DD, offering respite for parents and caregivers.
Engage in fun and enriching activities with children, supporting their emotional and behavioral needs.
Maintain a respectful and supportive relationship with families, providing a safe and comforting environment for the child.
